E-Mail Scam Alert

If you receive an e-mail like the sample below that claims to be from New York Unemployment Assistance, New Hampshire Unemployment Assistance, Unemployment Assistance, or any e-mail address ending in "@detma.org", do not reply to the message and do not click on the link in the message. This is an identity theft scam that is being directed toward employers, and is seeking information about former employees. New Hampshire Employment Security would not request personal information in this manner.

If you believe your identity has been compromised, please contact local law enforcement and take steps to protect your identity and that of your employees.

From: Unemployment Assistance [mailto:***@detma.org]

Subject: Action Required - Time Sensitive Material

A former employee(s) of your company or organization recently filed a claim for benefits with the New Hampshire Division of Unemployment Assistance (DUA).

In order to process this claim, DUA needs more information about each former employees. You are requested to:

  • Provide Wage and Separation Information, and/or
  • Provide Separation Pay Information

If you do not provide this information, you may lose your right to appeal any determination made on the claim. To provide this information electronically, please log-in to the qUIk response system web2.detma.org/UIDET/AAA/Employer/OKRS_E01_IssueSummary.aspx on the DUA web site and complete any outstanding forms. (**The e-mail may instead ask you to complete the attached claim form**)
