Colebrook Job and Resource Fair to be Held on October 10th

New Hampshire Employment Security is hosting the Colebrook Job and Resource Fair on October 10th at the Colebrook Elementary School Gymnasium located at 27 Dumont Street, Colebrook NH 03576 from 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m.

A number of New Hampshire businesses with immediate job openings and future positions will be on hand to speak and interview candidates. The career fields represented by the companies that have registered for this hiring event include manufacturing, staffing, retail, government, education, health care, computers and technology, industrial, among others. Job seekers should dress professionally, bring copies of their resumes and be prepared to interview.

“Events like the Colebrook Job and Resource Fair, which connect New Hampshire’s talented workers with employers looking to hire, are a critical part of our efforts to strengthen our innovation economy and support a strong middle class,” Governor Maggie Hassan said. “By supporting and hosting this job and resource fair, New Hampshire Employment Security is helping to build a stronger, more innovative New Hampshire.”

“The Colebrook Job and Resource Fair is an opportunity for job seekers to meet face-to-face with a variety of employers, develop a network of professional contacts and have an opportunity to ask employers questions about their specific organization or industry. New Hampshire continues to support and provide the necessary tools to our unemployed or underemployed residents to secure that next good job,” states Commissioner George Copadis of New Hampshire Employment Security.

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and onsite to assist job seekers including an automated Job Match System, internet access, local papers, employment counseling, and career assessments, as well as, workshops on job searching, resume writing and interviewing techniques.
