Operation: Hire a NH Vet
Two Veteran Job and Resource Fairs to be held in October

CONCORD - NH Employment Security will host two Veteran Job and Resource Fairs to bring together New Hampshire businesses, veteran support agencies, and educational institutions for a special mission for New Hampshire’s veterans - help them find a job and the services they need in these tough economic times.

"At NH Employment Security (NHES), our mission is to help all individuals find a job, but on the heels of Veteran's Day, we wanted to provide a special event to help Veterans and their families," said NHES Commissioner Tara Reardon. "Veterans have good work ethics and can enter the workforce with identifiable and transferable skills proven in real-world situations. Hiring a Veteran is a win-win situation."

The first Operation Hire a NH Vet Job and Resource Fair will be held at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH on October 19, 2010. The Fair will run from 10.a.m to 2p.m. The second Fair will be held on October 27 at the Littleton National Guard Armory from 10a.m. to 2p.m. Both Fairs are open to the public.

For more information, visit our Job Fair page.

New Hampshire Employment Security (NHES) makes it a priority to support Veterans each and every day throughout the year. Veteran’s Representatives are located in each of the 13 NHES local offices across the state.
