Vital Signs: Economic and Social Indicators in New Hampshire

HealthMedicare is the primary source for information related to tracking health data in New Hampshire. The numbers of aged and disabled Medicare recipients are reported. The number of covered days in skilled nursing facilities, the average number of days per admission, and the approved charges per day are tracked. Counts of persons served by home health agencies, average number of visits per person, total number of visits and average charges per visit are also tracked. Worker’s compensation payments are reported. Data related to hospital admissions, emergency room visits, inpatient and outpatient surgeries are also reported when available.
