Construction and Housing Data for New Hampshire construction and housing include the total number of housing permits authorized for New Hampshire, New England and the nation as tracked by the U.S. Census Bureau.. Contract value indices are tracked for total, nonbuilding, nonresidential and residential construction. Additional data provide the number of homes financed and rental assistance provided through the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, counts of home sales and average mortgage rates.
