New Hampshire Employment Security Partners with Hilton Hotels to Support Veterans
Free hotel stays to Veterans and Transitioning Service Members for employment-related travel

CONCORD – Members of the military are accustomed to sleeping on the ground, in fox holes, bunkers, barracks and other close quarters. While these sleeping arrangements are not the most luxurious, comfortable or safe, military men and women realize it’s just part of the job. Thanks to a partnership with Hilton Hotels, the New Hampshire Department of Employment Security offers free hotel stays for employment-related travel to Veterans and transitioning service members.

New Hampshire Employment Security Commissioner George Copadis stated, “New Hampshire Employment Security is pleased to partner with Hilton Hotels offering free hotel stays for veterans when they have employment related travel. We have tremendous employment opportunities right here in our state for veterans and transitioning service members. The staff at New Hampshire Employment Security are forever grateful to our veterans who have served our country with distinction and honor. Our offices throughout the state provide priority of service to our veterans and for us every day is Veterans Day. Again I want to thank Hilton Hotels for offering this service to the veteran community and we look forward to working with them to insure this partnership is a huge success.”

While hundreds of Veterans across the country have successfully utilized the program, there are currently no limits on the number of eligible people who can enroll. Veterans are eligible for the points once per calendar year. Hotel stays are for employment-related travel, such as job interviews, career and hiring events, and training needed to get or keep a job.
