CONCORD- New Hampshire Employment Security is partnering with the University of New
Hampshire-Durham to present the Durham Job & Resource Fair on Wednesday, April 3, 2019
from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at UNH-Durham located at 83 Main St., Durham, NH 03824. This great
hiring event is free and open to all job seekers and will be held in the Granite State Room of the
Memorial Union Building. If you have been looking for a new career, jump start your career
or are just ready to start a new job you don't want to miss this networking and hiring
event. A full list of participating employers can be found at www.nhes.nh.gov and will be
available on the day of the event.

“Opportunities for employment abound here in New Hampshire as our economy continues to
boom,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “The Durham Job & Resource Fair will surely be an exciting
chance for Granite State students to connect with employers and pursue lucrative employment
opportunities.”

“The Department of Employment Security does a good job with these Resource Fairs and it is
good to see them paired with the University of New Hampshire. This is a good opportunity for
those who are unemployed or who wish to upgrade their employment,” said, Councilor Andru
Volinsky.

Commissioner George Copadis of New Hampshire Employment Security said; “The Durham Job
& Resource Fair will allow job seekers to learn about businesses that are hiring and what
their hiring needs are. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with
representatives from local businesses, small businesses, corporate, government and nonprofit
organizations to discuss a broad range of full-time and part-time career and job opportunities.
Employers will have an opportunity to provide details on their opportunities, expectations of the
job, benefits and conduct on-site interviews. Tired of sending your resume over the web to

able to meet directly with the key decision makers and get instant feedback on your

If you are a job seeker who is unable to attend the Durham Job & Resource Fair, you can access
job and career services through New Hampshire Employment Security. Our One-Stop Centers
provides resources free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers
with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available

access, career assessments, as well as, workshops on job searching, resume writing and
interviewing techniques and career counseling to people looking to find new employment.
