Manchester Job and Resource Fair to be Held on March 29th

CONCORD-New Hampshire Employment Security is hosting the Manchester Job and Resource Fair on Thursday, March 29th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This hiring event is taking place at UNH-Manchester Campus located at 88 Commercial Street Manchester NH 03103 in the Multipurpose Room. A full list of participating employers will be available on the day of the event. This great hiring event is free and open to all job seekers.

A number of businesses with immediate job openings and future opportunities will be on hand to speak and interview candidates. The career fields represented by the companies that have registered for this hiring event include manufacturing, staffing, retail, education, and health care, among others. Job seekers should dress professionally, bring copies of their resumes and be prepared to interview.

“Employment Security’s local job and resource fairs are a great opportunity for Granite Staters in Manchester and across the state to explore the abundance of opportunities in our booming economy,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “I want to thank Employment Security for their on-going efforts to provide opportunity to all Granite Staters and ensure direct access to potential employers.”

Executive Council Chris Pappas said, "The Manchester job fair is a great way for job seekers to explore opportunities with numerous businesses representing a wide range of fields. As we look to get New Hampshire back to work and ensure families have a chance to get ahead in this economy, an event like this is a win-win for all who attend."
“The Manchester Job and Resource Fair is an opportunity for job seekers to meet face-to-face with a variety of employers, develop a network of professional contacts and have an opportunity to ask employers questions about their specific organization or industry,” states Commissioner George Copadis of New Hampshire Employment Security. New Hampshire continues to support and provide the necessary tools to our unemployed or underemployed residents to secure that next good job.

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and on site to assist job seekers including an automated Job Match System, internet access, local papers, employment counseling, and career assessments, as well as, workshops on job searching, resume writing and interviewing techniques.
