North Country Job & Resource Fair

CONCORD - New Hampshire Employment Security (NHES) is hosting the North Country Job and Resource Fair on Tuesday, May 23rd 2017 from 10:00-2:00 at Bretton Woods Base Lodge located at 99 Ski Area Road Bretton Woods, NH. This great hiring event is free and open to all job seekers. A full list of participating employers will be available the day of the event.

Whether job seekers are looking to re-enter the workforce or make a career change, they will find many new employment opportunities at the North Country Job and Resource Fair. Those interested in expanding their network with valuable new contacts and meeting recruiters from a diverse variety of public-sector employers, all eager to hire for full-time and part-time positions ranging from entry-level to management are encouraged to attend this networking and hiring event.

"Employment Security’s local job and resource fairs provide a great opportunity for residents in New Hampshire’s North Country to explore the growing job market,” said Governor Sununu. "When state government reaches out to the local level to provide job seekers direct access to potential employers, New Hampshire’s economy is better-off. I want to thank Employment Security for their ongoing efforts to provide job opportunities for all Granite Staters."

Executive Councilor Joseph Kenney said, "The NH Employment Security Job Fair at Bretton Woods is an excellent opportunity for our Northern residents to explore employment opportunities to support New Hampshire's manufacturing, government, non-profit and travel and tourism sectors. Local businesses and vendors will explain their companies and share in the employment and training opportunities for job seekers to match up their skills. It is a great day to network and to build a relationship towards employment."

Commissioner Copadis said, "The North Country Job and Resource Fair is a great opportunity for employers to gain access to a local ready and willing workforce. Hiring employees from the communities where the business is located strengthens your business and makes our communities stronger. We encourage employers to attend and hope anyone looking for employment will take advantage of this free event."

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and onsite to assist job seekers including an automated Job Match System, internet access, local papers, employment counseling, and career assessments, as well as, workshops on job searching, resume writing and interviewing techniques.
