Concord - New Hampshire Employment Security (NHES) is hosting the Manchester Job & Resource Fair on Thursday, June 15th 2017 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral located at 650 Hanover Street, Manchester NH 03104.

NHES is expecting over 150 employers at this event looking to fill 2,000 job opportunities. We encourage job seekers that are looking to re-enter the workforce or make a career change, to visit the Manchester Job and Resource Fair. Those interested in expanding their network with valuable new contacts and meet recruiters from a diverse variety of private and public-sector employers, all eager to hire for full- and part-time positions ranging from entry-level to management are encouraged to attend this great networking and hiring event.

"Employment Security’s local job and resource fairs provide a great opportunity for residents in Manchester and across New Hampshire to explore the growing job market," said Governor Sununu. "When state government reaches out to the local level to provide job seekers direct access to potential employers, New Hampshire’s economy is better-off. I want to thank Employment Security for their ongoing efforts to provide job opportunities for all Granite Staters."

Executive Council Chris Pappas said, "The Manchester job fair is a great way for job seekers to explore opportunities with over one hundred businesses representing a wide range of fields. As we look to get New Hampshire back to work and ensure families have a chance to get ahead in this economy, an event like this is a win-win for all who attend."

"New Hampshire Employment Security continues to be a resource for the citizens of New Hampshire and the local business community," said Commissioner George Copadis. "This job fair is one of many ways that NHES helps residents and helps strengthen the business community. Job Fairs help local business find qualified job seekers in the community which creates opportunities for New Hampshire residents to work close to home. This not only supports our economy, it also reduces the need for residents to commute long distances and work outside of their community."

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and onsite at its twelve offices located throughout the state to assist job seekers including the Job Match System, internet access, employment counseling, and career assessments, as well as, workshops on job searching, resume writing and interviewing techniques.
