Job seekers will have access to employers looking for candidates to fill positions in a multitude of industries. Job seekers are encouraged to prepare by having an updated version of their resume, to research the participating organizations ahead of time and to develop a short introduction speech to introduce themselves and highlight their attributes to employers. Job seekers should do research and come prepared to make connections as strong as possible. Fully recognize and understand what the employers’ needs and interests are. Make a positive first impression and follow up with employers. A full list of participating employers can be found at www.nhes.nh.gov and will be available on the day of the event. This great hiring event is free and open to all job seekers.
“Employment Security’s local job and resource fairs provide a great opportunity for residents in Concord and across New Hampshire to explore the growing job market,” said Governor Sununu. “When state government reaches out to the local level to provide job seekers direct access to potential employers, New Hampshire’s economy is better-off. I want to thank Employment Security for their ongoing efforts to provide job opportunities for all Granite Staters.”
Executive Councilor Volinsky said, “New Hampshire does best when it invests in its people. Come visit the New Hampshire Employment Security job fair in Concord."
Senator Feltes said, "I am grateful for Commissioner Copadis and staff at New Hampshire Employment Security for hosting a job fair here in Concord. Hard-working Granite Staters in the greater Concord area, many on second and even third careers, just want an opportunity to succeed. These job fairs often make critical connections for our workers, our businesses, and our economy."
“Helping to connect job seekers with hiring employers is a top priority of New Hampshire Employment Security. As a result of these job fairs together with all of our re-employment programs provided at each of our local offices located throughout the state, we are delivering on our promise to connect our residents with great opportunities,” said New Hampshire Employment Security Commissioner George Copadis.
