Berlin, NH 03570

As part of New Hampshire Employment Security’s continuing efforts to provide networking opportunities for employers and job seekers, NHES is hosting the Berlin Job and Resource Fair on Monday, October 23 2017 from 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. This recruiting and networking event is taking place at the Salvation Army located at 15 Cole Street, Berlin NH 03570.

Organizations and employers ranging from public and private sectors, non-profits and others will be on hand accepting resumes, meeting and greeting prospective employees and in some cases, conducting on-the-spot interviews for both full and part-time positions. Applicants should come prepared with plenty of resumes.

Employment Security’s local job and resource fairs provide a great opportunity for residents in the North Country and across New Hampshire to explore the growing job market,” said Governor Sununu. “When state government reaches out to the local level to provide job seekers direct access to potential employers, New Hampshire’s economy is better-off. I want to thank Employment Security for their ongoing efforts to provide job opportunities for all Granite Staters.”

"We welcome the N.H. Employment Security Office Job Fair to the North Country. This is a great opportunity for the business, government and non-profit communities to interview potential employees for job placement. It further allows the vendors to explain their great job and training opportunities to people looking for work. The job fair is a great time to interact and ask questions to vendors about the job market, application process and potential growth within their companies," said Executive Councillor Joseph Kenney.

Senator Jeff Woodburn states, "We know in Coos County that a job can change a life, stabilize a family and build a community. We are fortunate to have government agencies, like the Department of Employment Security, who understand the economic and social benefits of creating opportunities for not only the unemployed but all workers and toils tirelessly and creatively to put people to work."

“The Berlin Job and Resource Fair is an opportunity for job seekers to meet face-to-face with a variety of employers, develop a network of professional contacts and have an opportunity to ask employers questions about their specific organization or industry,” states Commissioner George Copadis of New Hampshire Employment Security.

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and on site to assist job seekers including an automated Job Match System, internet access, local papers, employment counseling, and career assessments, as well as, workshops on job searching, resume writing and interviewing techniques.
