Seabrook Job and Resource Fair to be Held March 23rd

CONCORD – New Hampshire Employment Security is excited to host the Seabrook Job and Resource Fair on Monday, March 23rd 2015 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Seabrook Community Center located at 311 Lafayette Road, Seabrook NH 03079.

Whether job seekers are looking to re-enter the workforce or make a career change, they will find many new employment prospects at the Seabrook Job and Resource Fair. Those interested in expanding their network with valuable new contacts and meet recruiters from a diverse variety of private and public-sector employers, all eager to hire for full- and part-time positions ranging from entry-level to management are encouraged to attend this great networking and hiring event. A full list of participating employers will be available on the day of the event.

“New Hampshire Employment Security’s Job and Resource Fairs, which connect New Hampshire’s talented workers with employers looking to hire, are an important part of our efforts to expand middle class opportunity and keep our economy moving in the right direction, and I’d like to thank New Hampshire Employment Security and participating employers for working together to make this fair possible,” Governor Hassan said.

Executive Councilor Chris Sununu states, “This is a great example of state government at its best reaching out to the local level to provide additional resources through the Job Fair to the local citizens so they can explore new job opportunities. I want to thank Employment Security for their ongoing efforts on behalf of the citizens of the State of New Hampshire”.

Initiatives like these are crucial to helping both individuals who are in need of good jobs and businesses who are looking for qualified employees.” said Senator Nancy Stiles.

Commissioner George Copadis of New Hampshire Employment Security said, “We want people in New Hampshire who are looking for work to know that there are jobs available. We encourage people to come to the job and resource fair prepared to interview”.

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and onsite to assist job seekers including an automated Job Match System, internet access, local papers, employment counseling, and career assessments, as well as, workshops on job searching, resume writing and interviewing techniques.
