CONCORD - NH Employment Security is partnering with the Exeter Chamber of Commerce, Senator Prescott, and the Exeter Rotary Club to present the Exeter Job and Resource Fair on March 13, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Exeter Town Hall located at One Front Street, Exeter, NH 03833. Job seekers will have access to employers seeking candidates to fill positions in a broad range of industries, including hospitality, health care, finance, education and telecommunications. A full list of participating employers will be available on the day of the event.

“New Hampshire Employment Security’s Job and Resource Fairs, which connect New Hampshire’s talented workers with employers looking to hire, are an important part of our efforts to expand middle class opportunity and keep our economy moving in the right direction, and I’d like to thank New Hampshire Employment Security and participating employers for working together to make this fair possible,” Governor Hassan said.

"In the past four years, the Exeter job fair has brought thousands of job seekers and employers together. However, what I am most proud of is that it has brought our community together," Senator Prescott said. "Schools, social service agencies, and groups such as the Exeter Rotary and Exeter Chamber of Commerce have promoted, attended, and participated in this job fair. I thank all those that help make the event such a success."

Executive Councilor Chris Sununu states, “This is a great example of state government at its best reaching out to the local level to provide additional resources through the Job Fair to the local citizens so they can explore new job opportunities. I want to thank Employment Security for their ongoing efforts on behalf of the citizens of the State of New Hampshire”.

Commissioner George Copadis of New Hampshire Employment Security said, “We want people in New Hampshire who are looking for work to know that there are jobs available. This Job and Resource Fair will include employers from one end of the state to the other that either have job openings today or anticipate having openings in the near future. We encourage people to come prepared to interview. We are always striving to support our unemployed or underemployed residents to obtain that next good job so that they can better support their families and be active in their local communities. People that are looking for work need opportunities like this to interact with organizations that are seeking to fill positions. We are excited to help make these connections.”

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and onsite to assist job seekers including an automated Job Match System, internet access, local papers, employment counseling, and career assessments, as well as, workshops on job searching, resume writing and interviewing techniques.
