NH Employment Security to Host the Somersworth Job Fair on August 27th
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Businesses looking to hire will meet with interested job seekers at the New Hampshire Employment Security (NHES) sponsored Somersworth Job Fair on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Armed Forces Reserve Center located at 179 Route 108 Somersworth, NH from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The Somersworth Job Fair welcomes all Veterans and Veteran Friendly Employers. All job seekers are welcome to attend this great hiring event.

Employers hope to fill a variety of positions including, but not limited to: Account Representatives, District Sales Managers, Landscapers, Laborers, Machine Operators, Sales Agents, Medical Assistants, Appointment Schedulers, and Assemblers, Wait staff, and Direct Support Professionals.

“Events like the Somersworth Job Fair, which connect New Hampshire’s talented workers with employers looking to hire, are a critical part of our efforts to strengthen our innovation economy,” Governor Maggie Hassan said. “By sponsoring this job fair, New Hampshire Employment Security is helping to support a strong middle class and a stronger, more innovative New Hampshire.”

“The job fair is a great opportunity for employers to gain access to a local ready and willing workforce,” states New Hampshire Employment Security Commissioner George Copadis. “Having employees from the communities that you serve strengthens your business and makes our communities stronger. We encourage employers to attend and hope anyone in the job-hunting process will take advantage of this free event.”

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and onsite to assist job seekers including an automated Job Match System, internet access, local papers, book and video library, employment counseling, networking groups, and career assessments. Employer Seminars and weekly workshops are held covering such topics as job searching, resume writing and interviewing techniques.
