CONCORD- The Salem Job Fair, sponsored by New Hampshire Employment Security will be held on April 29th, 2014 from 10:00-2:00 at Mount Washington College located at 11 Manor Parkway Salem NH. The event will offer opportunities for job-seekers interested in entry-level as well as skilled or professional positions.

"Events like the Salem Job Fair, which connect New Hampshire’s talented workers with employers looking to hire, are a critical part of our efforts to strengthen our innovative economy," Governor Maggie Hassan said. "By sponsoring this job fair, New Hampshire Employment Security is helping to support a strong middle class and a stronger, more innovative New Hampshire."

"New Hampshire businesses are hiring, and job fairs like this one are a great opportunity for the state’s talented and qualified job-seekers to connect with interested employers. I commend the Department of Employment Security for organizing these opportunities in Salem and across the state and for the work they do throughout the year to ensure that every New Hampshire resident who wants a job has access to the services, resources, and tools they need to find one," said Senate President Chuck Morse.

Commissioner George Copadis of New Hampshire Employment Security said, "We want people in New Hampshire who are looking for work to know that there are jobs available. This Job Fair will include employers from one end of the state to the other that either have job openings today or anticipate having openings in the near future. We encourage people to come prepared to interview for these roles. We are always striving to support our unemployed or underemployed residents to obtain that next good job so that they can better support their families and be active in their local communities. People that are looking for work need opportunities like this to interact with organizations that are seeking to fill positions. We are excited to help make these connections."
