Concord- New Hampshire Employment Security is hosting the Plymouth Job Fair on August 21st 2014 at the Plymouth Armory, US Army National Guard located at 19 Armory Road Plymouth NH 03264 from 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m.

Employers from a wide assortment of industries will be on hand to speak with job seekers. These employers are looking to fill an array of positions, including manufacturing, retail, service, hospitality, and healthcare. Job seekers should dress professionally, bring copies of their resumes and be prepared to interview.

“Events like the Plymouth Job Fair, which connect New Hampshire’s talented workers with employers looking to hire, are a critical part of our efforts to strengthen our innovation economy and support a strong middle class,” Governor Maggie Hassan said. “By supporting and hosting this job fair, New Hampshire Employment Security is helping to build a stronger, more innovative New Hampshire.”

“The Plymouth Job Fair is an opportunity for job seekers to meet face-to-face with a variety of employers, develop a network of professional contacts and have an opportunity to ask employers questions about their specific organization or industry,” states Commissioner George Copadis of New Hampshire Employment Security. New Hampshire continues to support and provide the necessary tools to our unemployed or underemployed residents to secure that next good job.
A number of New Hampshire businesses with immediate job openings and future positions will be on hand to speak and interview candidates. The career fields represented by the companies that have registered for this hiring event include manufacturing, staffing, retail, government, education, health care, computers and technology, industrial, among others.

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and onsite to assist job seekers including an automated Job Match System, internet access, local papers, employment counseling, and career assessments, as well as, workshops on job searching, resume writing and interviewing techniques.
