NH Employment Security and NH Works are partnering with the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce and the Exeter Rotary Club and Senator Russell Prescott to offer the Exeter Job Fair on Thursday February 9th.

"This is a great opportunity for job seekers to connect with over 40 Exeter area employers and resources in the hope of securing permanent full time jobs," said Commissioner Tara Reardon. "We are fortunate to have the assistance of not only Exeter area-organizations, but also Senator Russell Prescott who spearheaded this job fair." The Exeter Job Fair will be held at the Exeter Town Hall, One Front Street, in Exeter from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. This Job Fair is open to the public event and available to all job seekers.

Governor John Lynch is expected to attend the job fair on Thursday morning.

More than 40 employers from a wide variety of industries will be available to job seekers. These employers have positions available including: facilities manager, SQA/QA manager, Q/A & software engineers, collision and automotive service technicians, paraprofessionals, tutors, LNA, LPN, RN, PCSP, CDLA Driver, laborers, sales, collections, administrative and warehouse positions, as well as resources for jobseekers.

Some of the Employers attending are: F.W. Webb, Electropac Co. Inc., Optima Bank and Trust, Harbour Capital Corp., Service Credit Union, PC Connection Inc., Natural Technologies, Inc., Amesbury Chevrolet, Hutchinson Sealing Systems, Inc., Cobham-Exeter, Teledyne, Venture Construction, Maxim Healthcare Services, Tutor Doctor, NAMTEK Corp., Easter Seals of NH, EFI/Vutek, Home Depot, United Health Group and Rockingham County Corrections.

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and onsite to assist job seekers including an automated Job Match System, internet access, local papers, employment counseling, and career assessments, as well as, workshops on job searching, resume writing and interviewing techniques.
