CONCORD - NH Employment Security in partnership with Executive Councilor Russell Prescott, the Exeter Chamber of Commerce, and the Exeter Rotary Club to present the Exeter Job and Resource Fair on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Exeter Town Hall located at One Front Street, Exeter, NH 03833. Job seekers will have access to employers seeking candidates to fill positions in a broad range of industries. A full list of participating employers will be available on the day of the event. This great hiring event is free and open to all job seekers.

"Employment Security’s local job and resource fair provides a great opportunity for residents in Exeter and across New Hampshire to explore the growing job market,” said Governor Sununu. "When state government reaches out to the local level to provide job seekers direct access to potential employers, New Hampshire’s economy is better-off. I want to thank Employment Security for their ongoing efforts to provide job opportunities for all Granite Staters."

Executive Councilor Russell Prescott said, "This is a great opportunity for employers - it gets potential employees face to face in a short period of time. But most importantly this job fair is for job seekers - this is an occasion to find hope and opportunity in a much quicker more personal fashion. Volunteers from Exeter Rotary and Exeter Chamber of Commerce will be there to help you".

"The job fair is a great opportunity for employers to gain access to a local workforce,” states New Hampshire Employment Security Commissioner George Copadis “Having employees from the communities that you serve strengthens your business and makes our communities stronger. I encourage all those seeking new employment, or better employment to attend the Exeter Job & Resource Fair".

Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with many local companies that are hiring, who will be pre-screening candidates on the spot as well as taking resumes and applications. Job seekers will also be able to network with employers and organizations to obtain career information and gain experience speaking with prospective employers. The Exeter Job and Resource Fair is another effort by New Hampshire Employment Security to help the New Hampshire business community find the workforce they need right here in the Granite State.

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs.
