CONWAY - NH Employment Security (NHES) will be partnering with Granite State College to host the Mt. Washington Valley Job & Resource Fair on Friday, May 18, 2012. The Job Fair will be held at Granite State College, located at 53 Technology Lane, Conway, NH from 10:00-2:00. Admission is free.

Employers hope to fill a variety of positions including, but not limited to: educational aides, residential advisors, sales managers, sales consultants, cashiers, customer service representatives, loaders, sales specialists, water slide attendants, janitors, cafeteria cooks, ice cream servers, mechanics, LNA's, RN's, physical therapist, occupational therapist, dietary aides, correctional officers, account managers, bank tellers, accounting technicians, housekeepers, office mangers, stewards, and servers. Resource representatives will be present to aid employers and consumers alike in the many programs available in the community. Veteran services, training programs, college representatives, NH Department of Labor, Small Business Administration, financial advisors, human services organizations, older worker programs, and NH Employment Security will all be represented.

Washington Valley Job & Resource Fair, a great event providing employers the opportunity to meet with qualified and trained individuals and job seekers, building a stronger workforce for New Hampshire," according to NH Employment Security Commissioner Tara Reardon.

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and onsite to assist job seekers including an automated Job Match System, internet access, local papers, book and video library, employment counseling, networking groups, and career assessments. Employer Seminars and weekly workshops are held covering such topics as job searching, resume writing and interviewing techniques.
