Tara Reardon, Commissioner of NH Employment Security, stated, "Individuals, including self-employed individuals who were living or working in the affected areas at the time of the major disaster, may be eligible for assistance under either the Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) Program or the Unemployment Compensation Program. We encourage these individuals to file for this assistance as soon as possible. Disaster Unemployment claims must be filed by Monday October 10, 2011. Individuals eligible for DUA may also include:

The last week DUA available based on this announcement is week ending 3-3-2012. Applicants filing DUA claims will be asked about their work history for the last 18 months and may be asked to provide paperwork that shows their earnings.
