New Hampshire Employment Security (NHES) will be hosting a targeted recruitment fair for the AT&T workers affected by the May 9th lay off. The fair will be held on May 14, 2008, from 3:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. at the NHES Somersworth Office located at 243 Route 108 in Somersworth.

More than a dozen employers and agencies will be participating in the recruitment fair. They are all eager to connect with the affected AT&T workers. The NHES staff also reached out to our employer customers that might be seeking qualified individuals such as the AT&T workers, with positive results. With the recent layoffs ocurring around the state, more and more New Hampshire workers will need support services to pursue new employment opportunities. New Hampshire Employment Security offers workers reemployment services such as employment counseling, job search workshops, and job and recruitment fairs.
